The 10 Best VR Arcades in Boston (2026)
This list ranks the best VR- and gaming-focused venues around Boston using Google review data, updated for 2026. Our ordering is driven by each location’s Google rating weighted by how many people left reviews, so a high score with lots of feedback ranks above an isolated perfect rating. Boston’s metro area mixes downtown spots, suburban game centers, and nearby venues across state lines, giving locals plenty of choices for immersive play, arcade nights, and group outings. Read on for the top ten, each listed with its rating, review count, Google category, and address details.
This ranking is computed from Google reviews (our method). Listings marked Partner are paid advertising spots: they sit alongside the ranking without changing its order.

Frequently asked questions
How should I choose a VR arcade?
Look at a combination of average rating and number of reviews to get a sense of consistency, check the Google category to see whether the venue is primarily an arcade, amusement center, or escape-room-style operator, and read recent reviews for notes on equipment and atmosphere. Consider location, hours, and whether the venue specializes in single-player or group experiences to match your plans.
What should I check before booking or visiting?
Confirm hours, reservation policies, and any age or height restrictions directly with the venue, and ask whether walk-ins are accepted or if you need to book a time slot. Also verify COVID-19 or other health policies if those are a concern, and check for any stated equipment sanitation practices.
How much does a typical VR session cost?
Prices vary by location, session length, and whether you book a private or group experience; many places charge by the hour or by the experience. For current rates, contact the venue or check its official website or listing before you go.
